I'm not sure about the blinker part, but I don't think it will affect it. Also yes a good body shop will be able to patch those holes. They will weld in a piece of metal right there, grind it smooth, then re-paint your whole fenders. If you buy new fenders that hole will be there no matter what, so that would be pointless.

Good Luck!

yeah but if you want it to look factory, it's gonna to take a sh-tload more work vs welding in a plate.

aftermarket low end composite part can be a bitch to prep, the wave, the high and low in the coating. If their fender is anything like my seibon trunk, i wouldn't even bother with it. I wouldn't be surprise if it's about the same weight in finish form.

shaving the blinker you'll need to weld in a plate, grind down, block down and refill all the low point, skipcoat and of course the paint.

Your blinkers will blink faster due to the "missing" resistance it's used to. You can get units that fix this (People who change to LED will know what I'm talking about) but basically it's a resistor pack that tricks the "hyper-flashing system" to trick it into blinking normally - As it blinks fast to alert the driver that there is a bulb out.

As the others have said, new plate welded, ground, repainted for the hole.

I dont think the side markers will cause a hyperblink. I have only my sides as leds and it isnt causing hyperblink like the front and rear do. Might as well try it real quick only takes a few mins.

I would just leave the wiring in the fender.... Or the proper way would to setup a resistor.

Cheers!
