sounds relatively normal to me if a bit louder due to the engine not running. Is your linkage still covered by the factory interior pieces or is it exposed? Not sure about what sound deadening is in there but it may have come loose. Its a little hard to tell from the sound clip without seeing the motion because you could be shifting like a mad man and making that noise .

How long have you owned the car?
When did you take notice to the sound?
Sound there before fluid change?

Is there a lot of sloppy play when shifting? More noise with certain gear shifts, than others? Have you tried another gear oil, just for giggles? Worth a try. I like Royal Purple Synchromax.

I have a bit of noise. I can feel the resistance associated with the clicking noise. The noise and feel got better with the oil change. Worth a try, if these are your symptoms. I don't think it'll hurt.

Hmm... if the shift is ok. No worries. Let sleeping dogs lie?
