Default "Short block" ????

I've seen several posts that referred to a "short block" engine in connection w/ our S.
Is there a long block engine for it also? Surely Honda did not make different engine blocks for the S.

Short block = motor with cylinder head removed
Long Block = motor with cylinder head (complete)

Browse through some muscle car catologues. I found that I can order about 30 different short Blocks (bottom end no heads) for the 302 (tow vechile) and probably 10 more Long blocks (complete engine) Funny thing is some of the long blocks cost less then an exhaust on the S2k. I hate push rods but god are they cheap to make fast.

Thanks guys. I was aware of "small block" Chevy, etc. and had no idea that a "short block" was merely the engine w/o the head.
