shutdown in the cold?

Default shutdown in the cold?

has anyone ever experienced their car shutting down on its own immediately after starting it? been pretty cold lately, but just wondering..

Yep. Seems to be a pretty common occurence with this car. I recommend plugging it in at anything below -15 celcius.

Mine will do this on the first significantly cold day. I let it die and allow the ECU to learn the symptoms. Starts fine every time after that until the ECU is retrained back to warmer temps...

ah okay good deal. what do umean pluggin it in? i just restart it after it dies..

only if you live somewhere reallly cold!

i think sang lives near Washington DC and cold for us is 10-15F, which isn't that cold comapred to canada!

haha okay thats probably why i dont understand. this happens when its about 15F outside. if its an option, i dont believe we have it on ours around here?
