highly likely. although my assumption is based only off of the fact that you have stated the vehicle was involved in an accident and the radiator could have been damaged upon impact-

if the radiator support has been compromised then the radiator could have been hit.

if there is no damage done to the radiator support then i would check underneath. sometimes you cant see the damage from above and the radiator support could have kinked into the radiator.

if your running the stock radiator then it could have been cracked and although the fluid is not gushing out it could have a slow seep.

if your running a koyo or aftermarket aluminum radiator then i would check any of the welded areas to see if they have been broken or tweaked.

it might be hard to tell in car, best bet would be to remove the radiator and go from there...

and if the radiator is no good well at least you did half the work by removing it.

is there a sweet smell to the smoke you see?

if so it could possibly be the coolant burning-

what kind of collision? front end im assuming? how bad 5mph crash? did you hit another car?

situations like this are tough, if you know your burning coolant (and cant see anything obvious from the top) then the next step would be to remove the radiator and visually inspect it.

gl hope your ok from the accident.
