Default snakey at highway speeds when accelerating

Hey guys I'm a new s2k owner. When I bought the car it had 18" offset rims with 215/45/18s in the front and 245/40/18's on the rear/ I switched them out with ap2 rims and I put new rubber on all four wheels. bridgestone potenzas up front and hankook ventus at the back (got em on a good deal on clearance and they didn't have the front sizes available). I'm not sure if it did this with the old tires but now when I hit around 50+mph while accelerating the car snakes as if it was on grooved pavement, but when I let off the gas it goes away and feels perfectly straight no matter what speed I'm at. BTW I do need a clutch ASAP. Any ideas as to what this could be? It's just weird that it's only doing it while accelerating. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys

check the tire pressures. if they are brand new tires they need time for the mold release compound to wear off.

The front and rear wheels are different hub sizes as well as widths... do you get a proper set and correct mounting?

I was amazed some years ago when I saw a tire guy (I think he was high) get the wrong tires on the wrong wheels and then put them on the car when they should not have fit.

it was just the tire pressure. I couldn't believe that would make such a difference. Thanks everyone
