Default soft top

My son and I are going to replace my 2004 S2K soft top. I have suzuka blue exterior and blue interior so I want to go with blue.

Are there a) specific companies on line that are best to order from and b) specifics I need to look for when ordering. Also, any land mines to watch out for DIY?

Thanks

I wouldn't DIY. I did it once and it was no fun, Ive replaced transmisions and engines before and I wouldn't do this again, I ended it tearing my new top when I was stretching it . GL

Not sure where you're located, but there are a number of members who are very experienced with top replacement. Post up a request in one of the local forums and see what responses you get.

The general consensus is to stay away from the EZ top, the Robbins top is decent, but nothing fits like OEM, it's also the most expensive. If you can find one, go with a used top + rail combo, it takes a lot less time and effort to install.

Have done the blue Honda top many times and the customers get rave reviews. AND they are cheaper than the black

Expect 10 plus hours for a first time.

DO NOT separate your roll bar hoop halves. They must be pulled as a unit with the steel bar inside. If you split them, no glue known to man will fix them. Trust me on this one.

You will fine ONE screw on each roll bar hoop, close to the outside of the car, that appears to screw the two halves together. Runs front to back. NEVER remove this bolt.
