Default Soft top will not work.

So a couple of months ago my passenger window and soft top completely stopped working. I've check fuses and a few other things but I'm at a complete loss. Any suggestions of things I should check or even pictures would be great!

I would start with the passenger side window, the window needs to be functional or at least in the downward position for the soft top to open. Safety feature!

I just find it odd that they both stopped working at the same time. I've been told when the soft top control module goes out the passenger window will stop working as well because they are connected. But the drive window is on its own control. But the control module is almost 200 trying to save some money and test everything before I spend the cash.

It is quite possible that the module is the cause but if you can lower your passenger window enough to satisfy the module and the soft top works, you may be able to rule out the module.

I would start by checking to see if you have power to the passenger door window switch then go to the motor afterwards, even the driver door passenger window switch can be tested. You could even manually bump the window motor with 12Vdc to see if the motor is functional.

I had the same issue happen to me last month. My passenger window would no go down and the soft top did not work. My driver side window worked.
I fixed mine by replacing the soft top control module. Mine is a MY02 with 60k miles. I guess it goes out eventually. Good luck.

I'll take a look at all those things tomorrow. I'm gonna try and find someone with a S2000 and see if they will let my swap modules before I buy one.
