Default Solid brake line replacement

Hi all,

i am based in the UK and my s2000 has failed its MOT on corroded rear brake lines....I have been quoted for the work but want to make sure I wasn’t being overcharged.

how many hours labour to replace the entire line front to rear and bleed the system etc?

any uk guys got examples of what they paid?

thanks,

Might want to also post your question on the “UK and Ireland “ sub forum on here—might have more local folks see it and chime in on the cost.

Good luck!

im not familiar with the laws in your country but brake line replacement from the master cylinder all the way to the rear brake hoses in my repair shop would be about 5 hours of labor to make them and install them plus the cost of parts. my labor rate is 133$ hr and there would roughly be sell than 100 worth of brake line & fittings so about 765 + tax
