so i have been noticing that i have coolant leak buildup under the engine block after i leave a parking spot. i have been checking my radiator fluid and reservoir and its not low at all (hot or cold) but im noticing random pools of radiator fluid?
Could this be water pump? I checked the radiator hoses closest to the radiator both top and bottom they were both fine.
My temp on my odometer never goes higher than midline.
Anyone can chime in on this?
I have a lowered car so its hard to see from underneath and havent had the time to jack the car up since i moved to a new apartment compound recently.
I will try to post pictures later.
thanks

Im telling you, get that drip pan. I though my coolant leaks on my integra magically went away til I was on the road and my temps go super hot and i had to pull over 5 minutes to let it cool down. Get the drip pan and just leave there over night and it will tell you right away if you have a leak or not.

Needless to say im took my car to firestone today as i used my car last night after being parked for a week. I noticed that my temp gauge went all the way to H.
Ill keep you guys posted on the diagnosis

I was about to say overheating is inevitable with a leak. I dont understand why you let it get to that point? All it takes is one good overheat to warp the cylinder walls and destroy the engine.

they found a leak on the lower radiator hose. they dint have the part in stcok so i just ordered one from honda and going to pick it up tomorrow.
Anybody knows a good shop to install it for a good price. The place i went to today wanted me to pay 70 for parts and 158 for labor(1.6 hours).
So im looking for a shop tomorrow that can install it at a good price

It's a easy install, just remove alternator and maybe intake too, not sure if your stock or whatnot. Take off the old one and put on the new one. Going to have to bleed air from your cooling system most likely though.
