Default Something is loose in my trunk lid

When I open my trunk lid i hear something slide around in my trunk lid. It sounds like a small piece of metal (maybe a screw/nut) or maybe a small rock? Typically, I will only hear it the first time I open the trunk after driving. I'll hear something slide inside the trunk. After the initial "slide" i can move the trunk lid up and down and seemingly the sound disappears. I'm guessing a nut/screw has somehow has been dislodged and is in the trunk lid. My question is....how do I get it out? Any information, help or experience with this issue would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

It's the junk in your trunk.

Try one of those magnetic screw/bolt catchers.
I don't know what it's called, but it looks like a long screw driver but with flexing arms, and a magnet attached at the end.

It's not the trunk spring (the black bar) rubbing, is it?
