Agreed!!!! Check that sucker. Its happened to other owners. I have my spare held in by blocks due to it having an amp in the middle.

I had one of the nuts that attach the third brake light to the trunk back off and roll around in the webbing structure of the bottom side of the trunk lid. Took a while to figure it out, but if you open the trunk and move the lid up and down quickly you should hear it rattle around if it's the case for you.
Good Luck!

I've noticed the same thing recently. It's not so much of a rattle as it is a "ringing" as mingster described. It sounds like there are a couple coins resting on top of each other back there. I've been meaning to check the spare, but haven't taken the time yet since I've been too busy trying to find out how to stop my rear view mirror from vibrating.
