Default Sound from engine bay

I checked out the common problem list
and I found this one

Problem: Whistling sound comming from engine bay
Solution: Put the airbox cover back on

And so last week I started my s2000 for the first time this season and I notified some sound comming from the engine bay.

check out this video from youtube that I make.
I wanted to know if this sound is the one from the prolem list or not ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvYl6xn9dYA

If not what is it ?
I don't remember if this sound is correct or not.

And no I dont have the Air Conditional ON

Thanks
Sorry for my english

mine has the same issue... it's only when the airbox lid is off... then it whines slightly... and for me rpm doesn't increase the pitch of the whine either. Not sure if the noise stays there regardless when you put the cover back on or it just dampens the noise... also it stays noisy even once fully warmed up... doesn't change tone or anything...

No I just remove the filter for the test I'm always running with the filter on.

I will try to find exactly from where the noise is comming.

Putting the box back is only dampens the noise only but it still there

And one more thing
when I put the cover back I put my hand on it I can feel vibration then reving up the vibration disapear and come back when it goes back to idle.

Its normal...its just your intake. Its louder because you have your lid off.

Its normal. Aftermarket intakes do it as well.
