I guess you could do it to satisfy your curiosity but you are probably going to have a tough, tough time getting Honda to step up after the fact. Seems like if there is the slightest room for doubt in the issue, you are out of luck as far as they are concerned. Hopefully all is well with your car and there is nothing to worry about.

 

i had the same problem, after the dealr put the spark plug kit in my egin locked up and was done. hond denied the whole thing and said i need a new engin. I took my s to a shop and the mechancnic found everything that caused the problem. I spent about 4800 on a used jdm f20c it had about 16000 miles on it. with labor it was i think $7400. It really sucks.
