Default Spark Plug condition?

What do you guys think of the spark plug condition?

I'm assuming they were the original from 2000. I bought the car 4 years ago with 44k miles and I just replaced them with ngk iridium plugs at 56k miles. Since I had the car, it has had 3 track days and about 150 auto cross runs.

They look like they were firing properly, everything looks normal. You probably changed them at the right time as the spark plug gap opens up over time as the center electrode erodes. Mine were over the service limit at 50k miles, but every engine is different.

That can probably be rectified with some new spark plug seals

The firing end of the plugs look dry so the oil didn't come from the cylinders. You probably had a few drops in the spark plug tubes and it goes on the plug threads when you remove them. It is not uncommon, particularly near cylinder number four as people spill oil during top-off's and it can end up in the spark plug tubes, and the tube seals can leak a bit as well.
