Default Spark plugs for Vortech

I was just wondering for those of you who have the vortech, what kind of spark plugs did you replace with? I am told that 1 heat range colder is fine. Just wondering what the majority is doing. Thanks

I didn't know it was neccessary to replace the spark plugs when fitting the SC. According to the manual it's only required if they are old.
Is changing to a cooler plug just precautionary or is it required?

I have been using these Halo (www.halosparkplug.com) for a while now. I have not bother changing them after installation of Vortech as the car does not detonate at all. It might be making a some more power...well may be
Stock 127rwkw, you guys get around 200hp
Vortech 205.5 rwkw must equate to about ?? around 320hp

**hmmmmm just found an old thead**
These halo plugs, according to my mechanic and tuners, were the cause of my engine failure. It could be a common honda s2k case of spark plug working it's way loose but my tuners and mechanic blamed the plugs so please disregard my above comment.

I am installing my vortech right now and I am going to swap out my plugs with ngk sparks NGKR-45672A-8. This was recommended to me by Evolution Autosports in VA. I am in Dallas TX. They have installed over 13 Vortech superchargers.
