So I recently bought a 2001 S2k off of some guy on craigslist. Everything on the car works except the spedometer.. He told me that the car has a bad speed sensor and it would need a new one. So I bought the car because I figured hey Ill spend the money on the new speed sensor why not. The car dead pedals when cruising for a while at 65 mph for a while he told me its cause the speed sensor that all you have to do is put the gear into neutral and put it back in gear. But once I put the new speed sensor it would work fine apparently. I took the car to my friends smog shop to read the codes and the speed sensor code came up so Today I bought the new speed sensor from honda for about 90 bucks and installed it. and still didnt work.. -___- Not sure what the problem is. If anyone has ever had this problem before or knows someone that found a solution for it please let me know.
