Default Speedcraft turbo?

I'm new to this board. I have recently purchsed a S2000 and was wondering if the Speedcraft turbo is a good turbo for the car. Or should i go supercharger? If so, which one should i go for?

LOTS of posts on this stuff. Is the search working? I bet even if you went back a few days you could find some info.

The Speedcraft turbo is an excellent kit. In fact, I don't know of any other kits off the top of my head. PM CBender or BlackS2000Turbo - they can help you out.

Both the Vortech and Comptech supercharger kits are great. The labor to install the Vortech is a bit more involved, but you get an aftercooler with it.

Pricewise, the turbo costs more than both supercharger kits (which are priced within a couple hundred dollars of one another).

Performance-wise, from what I have seen, the turbo'd cars make more torque than the SC'd cars. There is also more room under the HP curve. I am basing this on dyno runs on the same dyno with my SC'd car and BlackS2000Turbo's car (so don't flame me )

my understanding is you have,

better, quicker throttle response with a SC. (track)
more lag with turbo, turbos need to spin-up. (street)

i could be in the left field stands though.

When you're in VTEC the turbo will spool to 20psi in a split second. If you're on the track you should be familiar with downshift to get in to your motor's power range. The same thing gives you nearly instant (full) power with a turbo.
