Speedometer problem
I just started having a strange, intermittent problem with my speedometer. Every few days, it just blinks out, and then reads "0" before finding its way back to the correct speed.
These episodes last for a few seconds, maybe 5-10. There is no pattern I can detect.
FWIW, I have the Modifry speedometer calibrator, but it's been installed for almost a year, and this problem just cropped up.
Any ideas? It goes in to Honda tomorrow, but I'm not confident that they can diagnose or fix an intermittent problem, and I wondered if anyone else has seen this.

Loose connection. Probably in the wiring for the calibrator.
I don't have the calibrator, but I do have his redline module. On that unit the inline fuse holder was a bit fragile and gradually cracked, causing an intermittent failure followed by non-operation when the fuse fell out. Granted the calibrator is different, but I'd go back and check all the wires before taking it to the dealer. If they find it was because of an aftermarket part they are going to charge you $$$ for the diagnosis.
