Default Spoon air cleaner question

Hi I just got a Spoon yellow foam air filter shipped from Japan and installed it today. Do you use air filter oil for better filtering dust and sand?

The Spoon air filter does not come with anything else other than the filter itself, so there is no need to use any other aftermarket additives.

well.. the main difference is: when you open the air filter box, the filter is yellow, and it used to be grey.. )
when inside the car, the sound is a little deeper in vtec.. and that's about it
