Default Spoon air duct install

I have a 2006 S2000 and i just got a spoon air duct, i was wondering if i have to remove the bar that is infront of the rad, or if the duct fits around it, thanks in advance. BTW i did a search and found threads on the duct but none pertaining to my question.

You can unbolt the beam, push it forward them slip the duct in. Them bolt the beam back in place.

spoon air duct works w/ ap1.. u'll need to modfy the air duct/bumper in order to fit ap2 bumper.

You have to cut the Air guide on either AP1 or AP2.

I installed the spoon snorkel on my06 and it rested on the high pressure line to the dryer, which eventually broke. make sure yours isn't touching the dryer line.
