SPOON CALIPERS DoN'T FIT!
A friend of mine had the SPOON calipers installed on his S2000 with the stock HONDA 17" rims and ... surprise ..surprise... the caliper hits the rim !
How come when you buy this stuff online (Spoon is supposed to be "plug and play" right?!) they don't mention something important like this?!
Has this happened to anyone? Are spacers available and if so what type? PLEASE HELP!!!
thanks

Your friend should have checked and done more research before purchasing. Due to the design of the calipers you need more clearance in order to make them fit. This is a well known fact as that brake kit has been out for at least 4 years now. It doesn't fit on the 00-03 model year S2000s either. If you do a search on this topic on s2ki you can probably come up with 50 threads that have discussed this topic before.

You will need 15mm wheel spacers for the stock wheels to clear the calipers. There are some wheels on the market which don't require spacers such as SSR Type-C offset 40, Prodrive GC07 offset 44, SE37K offset 40.
Good luck
