A friend of mine claims he can get a brand new product that just hit the shelves - spoon CF hood. he gave me a pic too i'll get it up asap i cant remember where i put it. Anyone know if this hood is legit?

 

I know that their race car is a full carbon fiber body.... I assume the hood is too. But if it's a hood with no vents, might as well go with the Fiber Images CF hood. Gonna probably save you a LOT more $$$ that way, knowing Spoon parts.

I haven't seen or heard anything about a Spoon Sports hood...

 

You can also get the Spoon carbon fiber trunk lid too. If I remember right it is $1200.

You sure you not talking about the Amuse trunk?

 

As far as I know Spoon doesn't have a CF Hood or a CF Trunk. Only Amuse has the CF Trunk and it is not $1200 try $4200

 

Hate to burst your friend's bubble man, but Spoon has no CF hood/trunk for sale (even if you tried to grey market), if he does then I'd be wary...I mean, I can get a fiber image hood and slap a Spoon sticker on it...

Also, Spoon's trunk/hood are black/silver in color - don't ask me why.

 

Well I seen it in a Spoon catalog that is in Japanese, so I figured it was made by Spoon.
