Spoon ECU problems???

Default Spoon ECU problems???

Hi All,

I need some help, I installed the spoon ECU on sunday and my car wouldn't start
Is there anything else besides swapping ecu's that has to be done???

Tried install on 2 different S2Ks and neither would start! any suggestions will be helpful and very appreciated!!!

I believe the Spoon ECU is just a rework of the Honda ECU. My guesses are the immobilizer key is still programmed into the ECU. I don't believe anything JDM specific (if you got it gray market or not) which would cause it not to startup.

Thankfully I didn't buy it It is on loan from someone else, it didn't work in his car either!

So yes, I agree with you guys, it's probably just broken!

There will be no problems for the Spoon ECU that I assume. You need to bypass the factory immobilizer before you can fire up the engine. It is pretty much same immobilizer system as the 00-01 ITR.
