Just bought a "S2000 Project Car" and found that the previous owner installed a Spoon Sport upper front strut tower bar. The bar looks nice. But, it appears to prevent the Contech air intake system from being bolted securely. I have been told that the Honda strut will accomodate the Contech system without any problems. Advice please.

 

everyone told me that my spoon stb wouldn't fit over my aem cai but it did. i got luckey and just had one of those freaks that i didn't have to do any work to make it fit. in your case you really have two options. one you can out the intake on with the brace and put a piece of soft foam under it make sure its heat resistant, this will keep it from being metal on metal. or two you can put washers under each bolt to raise the stb up some, althought i don't know what this does for stability.
