So you're certain the check engine light will not activate if I don't install the test pipe? What exactly does the test pipe do? I would love to buy the Mugen dual outlet exhaust but it's a bit pricey. I'm looking for an exhaust that's under $1000. Any recommendations?

Thanks for the replies pun. One more thing...can you still smog the car with the N1 on?

 

yes, it should pass the emissions with the n1 exhaust IF you are running the cat and not the test pipe, or you could just have a technician you know well BS the thing to pass (you didn't hear me say that last part )

 

Does anyone know anything about the Neuspeed exhaust?

I'm asking in terms of power gains, and how loud it is under normal and harder driving conditions.

 

Most dual exhausts add about 1 HP-2HP
the Top secret is known for 5 HP for their dual set up...
Most people get duals for the looks and the sound..
Single N1 style set up is for those who auto X
and are looking for a tad more power along with saving some weight on their car.
