Updates:
With one side jacked up and wheel removed, I used another jack to push the rotor up and recorded a short clip. I tried multiple times to located the source of the noise with my fingers touching each suspension parts, and I'm pretty sure that this uca bushing is the culprit, I can see it popping as the right hight changes.

Besides, I found both of the sway bar end link boots are cracked, and so does the tie rod boot on the passenger side. The ball joint seems intact. I'm gonna buy new parts and replace them.

Hello, recently I noticed squeaking noise when I jacking up the car, through inspecting each corner, I found one of the passenger front UCA's bushing squeaks as the suspension travels up and down. Didn't see any damage to the bushing, car is stock, any idea? Thanks!

The factory bushings dont have any moving parts. So...it shouldn't make any noises unless it has failed.

Or the noise is coming from elsewhere, like a ball joint.

 

Thanks for your reply, please see my updates. It sounds like metal to metal contact to me, and I can hear it when going over small bumps or turn my wheels at low speed too

 

Are your UCA mount's spot welds broken?
You sure that the UCA bolts are tight?

That's a surprising amount of issues for an 06 with 55K miles!

I would strongly recommend buying Honda genuine replacements for anything you plan to replace.

 

I'm pretty sure that the mount is intact, this car hasn't been driven hard. I'll check the uca bolt. It's a southern car for all its life, guess 12 years excced the life of the rubber

 

Just wondering, do I need to do alignment after replacing the endlinks and tie rod end boot? Thanks

 

So long as you didn't alter the tie rod length, only replaced the boot, you don't need to realign.

Swaybar links also won't affect alignment.

Did you touch any of the control arm bolts? The lower ones with the cammed bolts? If not, you're all good alignment wise.

Like dry / rusted metal parts under load forced to move in relation to eachother.
But your suspension parts all look so nice, hardly any rust.
The control arm bolts DO rust together with the bushing inner steel sleeve but that just makes it harder to align and normal suspension movement - the rubber flexing - doesn't make it click.
I would say it's a ball joint or maybe where the spring sits on its seat or maybe even a broken spring?

 

Thanks for your suggestion, I tried to spay a bit of silicon lubricant at that uca bushing and quieted the popping noise fow a little while, I know it's not supposed to make any noise since there isn't any moving parts, but still makes me wondering.

The previous owner is an old gentleman in his 70s, hardly rev the engine. This car spent its whole life in the south until recently brought from VA to MI by me.That explains the clean underbody. Of course, she's gonna stay in storage the whole winter with my beloved ap1.
