Default start up after storage

firs off i would like to start by saying tha im not sure if this is the right place to post this, if its not MOD please move to the correct spot.

now my car has been sitting in the garage since mid november, i was finally able to get a DD and winter was apriching here in GA, well it has been the warmest winter in the last 12 years that i have lived here, temps have stayed avobe freezing throught out the whole time, now to my question what messures do i need to take in order to bring my car back out from storage, i read a post about how to make sure everything would be ok while it was put away but nothing about bringing it back out.

my gas was filled up all the way right before stored,i was still with in the oil changed limit so i left that alone, car was washed and and allowed to dry. my biggest corncer is with the oil, how long should i wait to change the oil? or should i do it b4 starting it back up? any help would be appreciated. oh and about the battey mine was dying before i put it away so im getting a new one right before i bring the car back out.

The oil will be fine. I have been storing my car for the last 12 winters and have never had a problem. The battery will take a hit if you don't trickle charge it.

did you put a fuel stasbilizer in the tank and run it through the engine before storing?
The oil should be fine with some highway driving to heat it up.

If you are close to needing it changed than do it before you start it. All the sediment in the oil will have settled to the bottom. The engine will be somewhat dry since it sat without being started for so long.

Just turn the key, she'll be fine. It hasn't been in storage that long. If it was a long period of time you could pull a fuse to build oil pressure prior to running but in your case I'd just fire it up.

i'd figure that much but want to be careful and learn from others mistakes, rather than find out the hard way

Fuel injection makes everything all good.
Just double checking all your fluids wouldnt be a bad idea.

Generally when I first start it up for the first time of the season I let it fully warm up before driving it just to get all the fluids moving again. Its probably not needed, but I am crazy like that.
