Default Starting problem

So lately I’ve been having trouble where my car would die out from idling. Just completely shut off and won’t turn back on. It would crank but wouldn’t start. The only time it would start back up is when my engine is completely cold again. I’m not sure if it could be the a fuse or main relay, I can hear the fuel pump working when I prime it sometimes. New to this Honda thing so I’m just curious. If anyone can give me help or advice that would be appreciated.

How’s your battery? Is it cranking weak? Any difference if you put a jump box on it? If Ok, time to check basics, fuel, spark. Also did you try scanning for any codes? How many miles on it? Have you done a valve clearance adjustment? Maybe a faulty crank sensor?

Any drivability issues other than the idling/cranking issues? Got a OBD2 scan tool? Check readings for the IAT and ECT when it is running and compare with the specs in the service manual.

If they are not working properly the ECU could be dumping fuel in the engine making the fuel mixture pig rich and flooding the engine which makes it die and hard to start afterwards. After some time the fuel in the engine evaporates allowing you to start it again.
