Default Steering feel after lowering...

I just lowered my car with the Tein Flex w/edfc about 1" lower (1 1/2 finger gap).
The ride is great, better than stock but seems like I've lost some steering feel. It doesn't react as fast as stock.

Has anyone notice that they lost some steering feel and steering response after lowering? I also got an alignment and went with the stock alignment.

The S2000 really does not have much for steering feel, but once realigned and caster set properly, it should feel about the same. Making the shocks too soft will slow the steering response a little so maybe you are feeling a change based upon damper settings.

In my post I mentioned that I did get an alignment after the drop.
It was set to the stock settings.

I haven't driven around on the stiffer settings so will give that a try to regain some steering response.

Not sure, I didn't record it, it was according to the database settings for 00-03 S2000s. I think it is my alignment settings, while it is in spec, it isn't optimized for turn in. However, it tracks real nice and bites more after turn in.

An alignment "within spec" can vary quite a bit. If you want better turn-in, I recommend a precision alignment specifically designed to reduce front toe to the minimum specification along with maximizing caster while maintainign the camber that you want. Try that before blaming the suspension.
