I have uneven power steering on my ap1 and figure it's the torque sensor, doesn't fix with torque sensor reset

I was wondering if a 2005 ap2 torque sensor would fit in my 2000 ap1? They have different part numbers but I saw on the forums that people said the ap1 fits in an ap2, but not about if an ap2 fits in an ap1

anyone know?
