Default steering wheel hard to turn

the steering wheel is hard to turn and doesn't feel consistent. One second it takes alot of force to turn the wheel and then a second later it will turn easy. Also I was hearing this pop noise at one point when turning left, although it's gone now. Any help would be great?

I hear a pop/clunk noise sometimes as well, but my steering wheel doesn't feed hard to turn. i only hear the pop when stopped or at low speed, like parking maneuvers, and usually only when turning full lock. if you find out where the noise is coming from, i would love to know.

My friend just bought an MY01 and he's having the same exact issue. If I'm making a turn from a stop it feels like EPS is shutting off and on multiple times in a matter of seconds. I'm thinking it may be be the EPS module. hrpfg2, how did you manage to fix it?

Mines doing it on and off all the time And it's warm here so i dont know that it's weather dependent. It did it to me yesterday when turning onto my street then 2 seconds later it was fine turning into the drive way. Its hard to fix somthing when it's not throwing any codes.
