Default Stiff Clutch

Hi..

Before getting flamed I must say that I have searched this subject but could not find anything similar to my case.

Anyway I have this problem with my S that started recently, the clutch feels stiffer than usuall. I have never driven the vehicle in a rough way but I think that this may have something to do with me rarely driving it. It has been with me for two years and has only around 7000 miles. In some cases I would not drive the car for a whole month but tend to every one or two weeks.

Does this have to do with not moving the car much? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Maybe your leg is getting weaker? Seriously, is it different enough that you're certain it's not just in your head? Is your other car a manual?

I'd look at the fluid first. Two years sitting? Might be in for a change.

I use to have the same kind of problem when I owned an 07 civic si..i took it to 3 different honda dealers..first 2 said it feels normal when clearly it didn't. The third one said something to do with some rod behind the firewall. Not sure if that helps. but i hope you find out what it is because i would like to know

I aint that old!!! But seriously it does feel heavier compared to the other times that I have driven it, and yes my other car is a manual which although an SUV it still feels lighter.

By the way, forgive my mechanical ignorance but where can I check the clutch fluid level?

I may take it to the dealer here but I dont think that that might help, I will try to mention the "rod" issue to them and see what they can come up with. But thanks anyway
