Default Stock Intake

I'm trying to put the stock intake system back into my car.

I currently have a AEM in there, that's how I got the car.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the stock hosing system works, I purchased one from another member.

I found this diagram, but where does the "E-8" section hook up to?

This is what my car currently has:

That section mates up into the stock intake tubing. You will see the holes on the rubber intake pipe to where that piece goes

On your car that has the aem, there is one small hose running from the coolant bleeder screw, to under the throttle body. It is a coolant hose. It will need to be removed to put the stock tubing manifold (E8) back on.

Awesome.

Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it!

Here's what it looks like now

I accidentally dropped the cover on the driveway... :'(

I'll probably wind up painting it because it's driving me nuts.

you missed a few things

Take your map sensor wire, route it over the pipping manifold, and clip it in the intake snorkel.

Also, the wire harness has a small white clip. it goes in the empty hole in the piping manifold. Look closely at the above pic.

I did that after I took the pic, I had to take it all off again, threw a engine code for some reason.

I'm not used to what a stock setup sounds like, is it supposed to sound like a loud whistle noise all the time?

Or do I have some kind of leak?

I reset the code, and put everything back on tight, so we'll see if it throws it again... other then that, it runs fine, sometimes boggles at idle.

One of your vacuum hoses looks to be undone.

Nope, not suppose to sound like a loud whistle. Check those hose connections.

Oh, and you might be able to sand those scratches out.
