Default Stock Looking Exhaust

OK, my Invidia V3 is gone, way too damn loud for someone who is trying to be more mature. I'm going for more of a sleeper look, look being the key word.

70mm is too big to have any kind of stealth or solitude at highway speeds, so 63.5 seems the next best route. I'm seriously considering either the Spugen or the Magnaflow exhaust systems, unless another contender that makes good mid-range and top end power that doesn't overpower with noise presents itself. I'd like to get some impressions and possibly a soundclip or two. I've checked both websites and found no sound or video clips for either exhaust. I'd like to know what kind of dB these exhaust systems put out, and how they sound. Power gains would also be greatly appreciated. The Spugen stands out because it looks just like a stock AP2 exhaust, but I'm a little concerned that the exhaust tips might not be as big as the stockers are.

This exhaust and 4.56 gears are my next two mods, and will be done on the next month, so I would like to find this information as quickly as I could. Any and all information, even a different exhaust suggestion, will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

No aftermarket exhaust will net noticeable power gains. I like my Mugen exhaust - slightly louder than stock, a lot lighter, and is distinctive in a subtle way.

I'm sure you already know what my answer is going to be - Supersprint. It will give you everything you're looking for, but at a higher cost over the two you're considering.
I have absolutely no experience with either of those exhausts, but from what I've read the Spugen has a considerable amount of drone. And the piping is aluminized steel, I believe. If that's not an issue for you, you might be better off having an exhaust fab'ed locally. Most shops aren't equipped to work with 304 SS, but they can order and work with 409 SS usually for a bit more money. It's not as pretty as 304 SS, but it lasts much longer than aluminized mild steel.

Look at the Tanabe Touring Medallion or the A'PEXi World Sport 2

For a sleeper look, consider the AP1 Mugen...the AP2 Mugen has huge tips, but the AP1 Mugen has very normal sized tips.

I put a T1R Sparrow on an AP2 here in Jax. Very nice quiet dual in my opinion. I can probably arrange for you to hear it...personally, I've found sound clips to be pretty useless. I too bought an Invidia back when they first came out based on the sound clip.

Running the ASM 70mm single right now. Can't say enough good things about this piece. Absolutely ZERO drone. When you get on it, just sounds a tad more aggressive than stock. And nobody would really notice that it's aftermarket unless you tell them.

I was running the Spugen Ti-tipped dual. Even with the stock resonator welded in, it was still louder than this AMS 70 single. Highly recommend the ASM.

I thought the Sparrow was T1R?

Who sells the ASM exhaust on the forums?
