Question strange issues

Hi guys

I'm hoping someone can guide me in the right direction with some issues. I'm wondering if there's some relation between them.

I have a 2001 Monza Red with 290k on the clock. It's been well maintained and very few issues, still runs strong, starts first time, accelerates hard etc..... but with some annoying foibles.

After a cool night in the garage, when I start it up the CD player shows an error message and ejects the CD. After a few minutes driving it accepts the CD and plays it normally. We're in Socal so most mornings it's ok but with winter coming I want to try to fix it.
Also after a cool night the power steering is a bit wonky. I have assist on left steer but on steering right it's a bit jerky and this again disappears as the car is driven a bit. After normal nights and after work the steering is fine.

I have an intermittent misfire which shows itself in stop and go crawling traffic occasionally but not always. However I've noticed this happens more if I have the ac or the headlights on.

Anyone have any thoughts? I love the car, it's the best I've ever owned and I plan to keep it for another 300

Is it all CD's or just one?

Have you checked the power steering fluid and if it's full?

Have you tried using a CD cleaning disc? Might be some dirt or dust inside the unit that is causing the issues.

EPS may need torque sensor reset. Here's a link I found:
