Smile Stripped screws

I'm installing stoptech rotors and have run into a bit of a hiccup. I am trying to remove the stock rotors but the screws that secure the rotor are corroded and easily stripped and made round. (see pic)

I need some ideas on how to get these out. Any home remedies I should try? This is EXTREMELY frustrating as you can imagine. I was only able to get 3 of 8 out. 2 per wheel. They just seem too soft for the average philips heads screw driver.

YUP! buy a "tap out" bit set and put on the impact hammer. spray first, let it sit then put the tap out/impact hammer and hit hard like you would a porno star. THEN it will come loose.

Take a 3/8th's extension and use it like a punch to beat on the head of the screw straight down. This will mash the head back so you can proceed to step 2. Insert #3 phillips, and hammer that straight in. Remove screwdriver, put dab of valve grind compund on the tip of the driver. Reinsert, turn out. You're welcome.o

Since you have a few of the screws out, find a drill bit just slightly bigger than the threaded part of the screw. Drill the head of the screws until they break loose from the body. Once the heads are off you can remove the rotor. Finally, with the rotor out, you will be able to remove the exposed threaded portion of the screw by hand. I've done this at least a dozen times on my car. Now, I just leave those little screws out.

1. Remove these screws by soaking them with penetrating oil (PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench, Kroil - NOT WD-40) and then usiing an impact driver with properly fitted bit.
2. Drill out the head, remove the rotor and then unscrew the stub.

Use a big drill bit and drill out the head, the screws are soft.

I'll give the impact driver a chance, but by an extra bit to make sure i can drill it out, would leaving the screws out be a bit unsafe? I was going to by a decent set from a fastener store that wouldn't corrode...,I had already soaked them in PB by the way

you don't need these screws. Honda uses screws, GM/Chrysler uses copper/brass clips that hang on to the studs, they are just to hold the rotor in place during assembly.
