Default Stroker kit...

I want to install a stroker kit in my F 20,to bring it up to 2.2liters.
Will it still be able to rev to 9K?
What kind of power increase should I expect?
I plan to go F.I.in the future;should I get lower compresion pistons now?
What else is involved?
Thanks.
Emil.
P.S.:Where can I get more infos on this topic?

Expect it to act like a 04-05 car.

All the same issues with the OEM 2.2 will apply. I wouldn't rev it to 9K.

If your going to stroke it, and have to change pistons then might aswell do lower compression if your going FI. Probably isn't going to ost any more, and you'll like it more once you can boost high wih the turbo.

If you intend to turbo the stroke won't make much difference but will decrease reliability and/or redline. I'd suggest going turbo now, then if you feel you want to spend more you can get the motor built with sleeves and lower compression pistons. Now that will be a monster for the same price with better reliability.

wouldn't you want to build up the engine BEFORE you turbo'd it? like get it sleeved and lower compression pistons now? otherwise, you're just going to burn up the pistons that are in there and score the cylinder walls...

not necesarily...there are many turbo S2k's out there with the right tune and by not running high boost, your fine, and your push 350whp...

what he is saying is try the 350whp shoe on first before wanting the 450whp shoe...because the 350 might just be enough for you

Please don't open your mouth if you don't know what you're talking about.
