Default struggling accel after decel

anyone ever find that when you decel down to maybe like 2k rpm and try to step back on the gas that it struggles a little bit then smooths out? is that normal? its never smooth when i get back onto the gas after decelerating but its really only at low rpm

Not normal according to my sample of one (1), a 2006 model.

Spark plugs and air filter up to snuff?

Any CEL codes?

Plugs were changed with oem ngks like 100 miles ago, but the issue was there beforehand, air filter is fairly new and no CEL

1-3rd gear, more noticeable in 1st and 2nd because i typically dont let rpms get that low in 3rd

Think he said 2K R's. That's pretty low RPM range to be stomping the gas pedal (on this car).

A nice V8 would handle that range easily.

OP claims she is letting the RPM's dip to 2K in 1st or 2nd gear and then finding hesitation on acceleration.

OP...does the car accelerate better at 2K RPM if you don't let it decel first?

Is your check engine light on?
