This car doesn't have struts - just two shocks in the front, complimented by an upper and a lower A-arm.

If you want an STB (shock tower brace), there are several on display in the library, with a note that states the only concern for STB's - and that is clearance for CAI's (cold air inductions).

Also, our car doesn't have any existing STB, so a stiffer one wouldn't really do you any good, just one would be fine. stiffer or not, they all do the same purpose - minimal at that. stiffer bars would be swaybars, thicker and harder bushings (hard rubber or polyurathane).

hope this helps!

I drove my car a almost a month with out the STB, I put on a comptech stb and AEM CAI, fits fine, no spacers or anything, the rubber hose that connects the intake tube to the throttle body sits right under the STB. I noticed a difference with one on VS. not having one at all. Unless this was mental. I ran underneath a over pass and did u-turns from one freeway exit to the next, I could take these u-turns faster with the STB. I think it is simple science, if you brace the top, brace the bottom with a X-Brace. Our cars are stiff and we have what I would call an I-bream that runs across the mid front end of the car, this helps the rigidity of the car. But bracing from top, bottom and middle actually creates a 3-dimensional brace, I think that this would be optimal bracing.

I base this on projects that I built, using balsa wood structures that weighed 9 grams and would resist 295lbs of weight. Lots of inner braces that formed an X with in a box. I'm not an engineer, but should have been most likely. This is just what makes sense to me.

They offer several of their own manufactured brace. STB, X-Brace, Rear lower, and a Rear Upper STB.
They offer a rear strut tower brace that is pretty interesting, mainly, because no one else is offering it, at least after looking for a month, considering we have a stock rear tower brace on the car that looks a little weak, this maybe an improvement over what is already there. They also offer a rear lower brace that is affordable upgrade over stock. I have seen anything about there STB, as far as any reviews, but all braces seem affordable. There throttle bodies are getting great reviews, but that is another subject.

I am going to order the upper and lower rear braces Friday and get them on the car and see if there is a difference.

The sway bar is a good upgrade, 3mm thicker over stock from what I can tell this is what is offered, but from what I have read, mainly if you are going to run "18 wheels. And that isn't much thicker than stock.

This is just my 2cents.

By the way my first time at a Auto-X this weekend and I had faster times than experienced auto-x'rs that didn't have either product on their car. So who knows, my instructor noticed the difference.
