stupid clutch
So overnight my clutch engagement point moved from the very top of my pedal to the very bottom. So low that I'm having a really hard time putting it into gear. Any idea what's wrong with it and what I can do?
I have an AP1 with 73k miles on it. I didn't have a problem with it till that one night when the temperature dropped about 15 degrees and its been cold here ever since.
Thanks

Leaking clutch master cylinder. Look where the clutch pedal goes into the firewall and Im sure youll see fluid leaking. Hardtopguys having a special on master cylinders right now.

Thanks revhi. I checked and didn't see a leak, but dark residue built up on the bottom side of the master cylinder. So I'm assuming its a very very small leak.
Thanks for your help again though

If the fluid level is not low it's probably not a leak. It may be some air in the hydraulic line. Most S2000s I've seen have really nasty looking hydraulic fluid in the clutch fluid reservoir. Try flushing and bleeding the clutch and see if your engagement point moves back up

i just bled my clutch. 56k miles. i don't think the people that had the car before me had ever had it done. cleaned some nasty crap out of the reservoir. no more sticky gears. it made such a remarkable difference.
