Default stupid questions

If you've got a stupid question to ask please don't ask it here. This forum is for specific technical questions. If you are going to put stupid question in the title of your thread then ask it over in s2k talk instead.

If people actually knew they were asking a stupid question, would they still post it?

Actually people do. They have titles like, "I know this is a stupid question, but...."

Yeah, you'd hate for someone to ask a question on an internet forum.

If it bothers you that much, change the forum name to "Specific Technical Questions".

You mean like this:
http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=179845
Not only does the thread title say absolutely NOTHING about the subject but maybe the content and type of question should be what cthree is talking about?
I may read these kinds of threads just for entertainment but these people do not deserve an answer from me (even if I have the answer). Oh, did I tell ya .................................... I think the title should contain SOMETHING of what the topic is about. Other wise, it's just a "cutsie" title supposedly meant to draw attention to itself. For me, this tactic just backfires and gets no response. Turns out to be a complete waste of webspace.

You mean like this?

Technical discussions about the S2000. Bring your wrench, this forum is for serious motorheads.
Would it matter if I changed the title? Would you read it? You didn't read the description so why would I expect you to read the title?
