super cuise control

Arrow super cuise control

my s2 is acting funny

it seems to be on cruise control all the time but at 4 mph

it does not stall if i take my foot of the gas in 1st gear it just keeps on rolling at 4mph
and cruise control is NOT on

i just got my car back because it was supposably getting fixed good thing my warranty covered it but the problem still continues anyone have had a similar problem or can anyone help diagnose the problem?

That's normal. Even an automatic will do that. Your engine still makes power at idle, and as long as the clutch is engaged, power is being transferred to the wheels. Now if it happens in neutral you have problem.

what's the idle speed?

and maybe your throttle cable is on too tight

Milkman, is this your first car?
As far as I know, all cars, manual and automatic, will creep forward when in gear and clutch engaged...given that the ground is flat enough that you don't stall.

Does this happen all the time, or just when the car is cold, and the idle is being held high by the ECU? You should idle around 900 rpm. Much more than that is too high, and will make the the car drive itself faster.

Yea on really cold mornings my S will drive uphill at around 10mph with no throttle input
