225/40 and 255/35

 

My last track event I was pulling on ZR-1s and 911s down the main straight.

 

I finally got my fender rubbing problem resolved by changing from racing harts (they refunded my money ) and got some fikse's. I don't know what offsets are being used, but I have 18x8.5 and 18x9 and I haven't had any rubbing under any conditions so far with 225/40s and 255/35s

Wow, 225's on an 8.5" wheel, not a lot of rubber. I didn't think we could do 8.5's up front.

 

I don't think rock has 8.5's up front but they'd fit if you wanted. Ben (bulletproof) has 18x8.5 running 235/35-18's.

if you supercharge the S2K engine

do you still have the VTEC??? or do you have to disable it?

and what is the HP gain from supercharging?

 

yes, no, ~100

 

oops, I have 18x8s on the front. How quickly one forgets.

supercharger adds approx. 100HP

 

The HP added is strangely equivalant to the number of times I can say "oh, sh*t!" from 6,000 to 9,000 RMPs. Anyone else notice this?
