Default Suspension recommendations (please)?

Hi everybody,

I"m new here, I've only posted an introduction so far. I've got an crystal clean, VERY low miles 2000 in Silverstone/black that I absolutely love.

I need urgent advice:

What suspension set up comes with the highest recommendation for a 50/50 street/track car? Currently, I have Rays TE37s (17s) and BF Goodrich G-Force KD (255/40). Engine is relatively stock (for now!).

Money is no object, but the products do need to be readily available in the US market.

Any ideas? I'm searching past posts as well...

Thanks guys!
Dave

If Money is no object: JRZs. They can be adjusted to be exceptionally plush on the street and of course insanely competent on the track. There may be equivalent or even marginally better shocks out there, but there's a hell of a lot of guys on the board who run 'em and can help you set 'em up. The same can't be said of other high end setups.

If $7k all of a sudden makes money an object, check out what the Go Fast Lab has to offer.

you can get $9500 JRZs There are a bunch of coilover setups that will run you close to 10k, so let us know how much you're willing to spend. 3k can get you some awesome setups.

Hey guys, thanks for responding!

I hope I didn't sound cocky - money is an issue, but I'm more concerned with getting the best, reasonable set-up. But - $10K sounds a little scary, though!

vtec9, what did you have in mind for $3K, give or take a few? I'm in SoCal, (as my forum name suggests...) so maybe a local company might be handy?

Thanks again guys!

Another option might be the Toda Fightex although not sure how comfortable they are on the street...

RACER,

Thanks for showing me that, I'll post over there - this seemed like the relevant place, but I guess not. I didn't realize I was breaking the rules.

Please feel free to remove this thread if it's offensive.

Thanks again,
Dave
