Default Suspension Torque Specs

Unless I missed something in the Helm's Manual, I can't seem to find any torque specs for the suspension components. I found a few loose bolts and I need to tighten them before some drastic happens.

Thanks,
Warren

You'll have to be alittle more specific then that. Maybe pictures will help.

Sorry, I basically mean ALL bolts (I know different bolts have different specs). After noticing some were loose, I decided I should check all of them but I can't find any info on which ones to torque to what.

I remember an episode of Sports Car Revolution on Speed Channel that mentioned checking all suspension bolts after each track day. And after 2 track days and 3 yrs worth of autocrosses along w/ the car being 4yrs old and 80,000 miles on it, I figure it was past time to start checking the bolts.

Some of the bolts I'm thinking of are:
The lower crossmember brace (has 3 bolts on each side)
the entire front suspension subframe bolts
the transmission crossmember bolts
A-Arm bolts where they attach to the brackets that are welded to the car
any other suspension bolts that I missed on this list

Those torque specs are all located in the Helm's Manual. Most of them are in the suspension section, and the rest are in the body/chassis section.

I'm at work and don't have my Helms available, but I'm sure I've seen those torque values listed in the manual. If you have a Helms, then look a little more thoroughly and I think you'll find the values. If your still having trouble, I'll help you out tonight when I get home.

Yep, you're right Gloffer. I found them underneath diagram where it mentions bolt size. I didn't even see it under there, all I saw was the bolt size. I wasexpecting to see the specs in a seperate chart or something like that. Thanks again...now back to work.
