Yes, it will bolt right in. That assumes your AP1 motor is complete. Things like the intake manifold, valve cover, engine harness just to name a few can not be part of the unswapped parts. Your EMS makes this work.

Good point, I have not looked in that area, but it makes sense that you would need to. I think one other has talked about doing this (posted) but I do not know if he did the swap or not. Search??

I don't think that would be required. The cluster is it's own computer. To change it, you would need to change the dash wiring harness too. I know that the AP2 and AP2 cluster is differant and the 06+ cluster is differant yet again. But I still think the above holds true regaurless of the year.

I have MY07 car with DBW and AP1 engine MY03 with AEM EMS.

I red many threads here, but I found out, that the SWAP AP1 in AP2 MY07 isnt so easy. ECU is different (VSA, DBW...). How work after VSA and more things, if i change the ECU? Or AP1 ECU have same connectors like Ap2 ECU?

Fuel pump (06+) is too different than 00-05. I dont know, if my Walbro pump will work on my MY07.

Please have somebody experiences?

I cant sell my car :-/

Many thanks and sorry for my english

Can I change the ECU from AP2 MY07 for AEM EMS 00-05? Conector cant be same or yes?
