my JDM stock ecu is on way to J's Racing for another reflash. in the meantime, looking for a ecu so there is no down time.

wuestion for anyone that might know, if i hook up with a non JDM ecu from ebay, will it run on my JDM AP2?

Does the JDM motor have different compression? I know gas in Japan is slightly higher octane, so you can bet it'll be tuned for 95 or whatever they have...better dump in some booster just to be safe.

 

i have an ecu from an 02-03 for pretty cheap. it would probably get you buy if you don't go crazy. pm me if you are interested.

 

you gonna have a problem if you buy a USA ecu.. they all have chipped keys. So you put a usa ecu in your car and dont have the right key the car wont start.

By the way it seems you have an 07 im not sure if you have drive by wire like we do here.. IF you do then you can only replace the ecu with ecu's with drive by wire..

 

yes mines a DBW car, 07 JDM, hence thischarming man's offer i cant take up.

Where can you get the J's ECU reflash? Or is it just the Hondata Reflash?

 

J's ecu reflash, can go thru any J's Racing dealers near you.
