Default T1R 70MM and CEL?

I installed my new 70mm exhaust and everything went well. i had the anti fouler mod for my spugen exhaust with no problem so i just took it off the test pipe and transferred it to the new t1r test pipe. then after about 20 mins of driving around i get the cel. i disconnected the battery and let her sit for about 15mins to clear it up, only to have the cel come on again. do i need to replace it with a new anti-fouler? will the cel throw the car into limp mode? dont know why it worked great with my other exhaust and now im getting cel.

I don't know why you got the cel, but I do know that it take's only 30 second's to reset the ecu.

Maybe you should get the cel code pulled. It could also be a gas cap problem.

And you don't even have to disconnect the battery to do it.

You need the code before guessing at what will fix the car. Otherwise you could be replacing parts that are completely unrelated to the actual problem.

P0136 isn't a Valid DTC for a S2000.

P0138 is for a secondary 02 sensor circuit high voltage. You'll need to check the connector at the 02, make sure it's locked in.

Are you using 2 stacked anti-foulers?

It's also possible the 02 has gone bad as well. Did you spray the sensor with any type of rust penetrant to remove it?
