Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried to search but I could not find the answer.

I am think about getting the T1R single exhaust and test pipe. If I run this set up will I get a CEL? I had an off road( no cats) X pipe on my cobra years ago and It gave a CEL. I lived with it but it drove me nuts! If this set up will give me a CEL is there anything that can be done to prevent it? I think the mustang guys have some gizmo now to prevent the check engine light.

Or one of a couple of electronic ones.
The mechanical is cheap and simple and works quite well.
